Headlines Against Humanity was a side project my team created in less than 24 hours. One of our co-founders Tyler Travitz approached the group with the idea to build a simple game that poked fun at the recent rise of click-baity headlines you see on sites like Viralnova and Upworthy. Twitter’s implementation of the feature can be annoying to users (myself included) who have read the article elsewhere and decide to share it when they see it pop up on their feed.
