Google+ , the latest iteration on socialnetworking from Google, is here. With all of that as a grain of salt to this post, I want to share a few reflections focused on security and control – the items touted ahead of launch as the elements positioning Google+ on the other side of Facebook.

It was my first first experience with online socialnetworking and from that first “Friend Request” I was absolutely hooked – obsessed even – with the potential of socialnetworking for social good. For most others, I think a better time investment would be Google+, Pinterest and Instagram.
You may agree with this or not, but I think it’s safe to say that the skill of listening online is one that all nonprofits should learn – it’s essential for anyone who wants to harness the power of the social web in their online strategy.
