Oxfam Uses Flickr To Advocate for Ethiopian Coffee Famers

Supporters have uploaded photos of themselves with a sign that says, "I support Ethiopian farmers." So far, 186 photos have been posted. My only criticism of the campaign is that very few of the photos have a Creative Commons license that allows bloggers and other supporters to share the photos and spread the word.

My kids have posed for photos in t-shirts , emptied their piggy banks , helped me make fundraising videos , contributed clothing or other items to drives at school, and have attended lots of fund raising events. But it doesn't involve baking cupcakes. I also want to them to discover and follow their own sense of social activism.
