Workers affiliated with Carolina Amazonians United for Solidarity and Empowerment, or CAUSE, have been organizing at the North Carolina warehouse since January 2022.

Human trafficking survivors are better able to access the kinds of resources necessary to get safe and stable housing, social services, and economic empowerment. We heard from law enforcement about the urgent need for shelter after a legal activity in a region. We felt good about our initial proposal confident in the ambition.
