In response to the 2010 crisis in Haiti , SAP employees contributed US$530,000 for immediate aid, and the company plans to match this over a two-year period. In Ghana, SAP is using their technology and volunteers in partnership with a leading NGO to help women create thriving businesses through the harvesting of shea nuts.
