We’ve all received cringe-worthy fundraising messages that just don’t feel quite human. They’re vague, don’t explain the impact of the donation, and ask for an arbitrary amount of money. If an appeal feels like it was written by a robot, it likely was generated by AI. Such subpar messages may be the reason that 63% of fundraisers feel uncomfortable using AI for personalized donor communications.
A nonprofit is more like a public company than a private enterprise in that it’s governed by a board of directors as well as its executive team.
