Cross-border e-commerce platform Temu, a sister app to Chinas Pinduoduo, has been ordered to halt its operations in Vietnam, sources close to the company revealed on Thursday, according to a report from Chinese media outlet Yicai. Hesai, a Chinese maker of lidar sensors for self-driving cars, said on Thursday it has secured an exclusive contract from Changan, with demand for its products from the Fords Chinese partner expected to reach 1.5 million units in the next few years.
