Donate Airline Miles. Airfare can be one of the pricier parts of getting to the NTC. That’s right.

Every single person who donates to the scholarship fund is going to get one vote to decide my fate. With the $10,000 in matching funds from Convio (and the $395 we raised over our goal), we're going to be able to fund 58 scholarships to the 2009 NTC! Of course, that means Holly's going to embarrass herself in some fashion at the NTC (and I'm going to have to get a new haircut in May). Jordan Viator. John Merritt. John Kenyon.

A few weeks ago we announced a joint effort between NTEN and Convio to raise scholarship funds to help people get to this year's NTC in the rough economy where travel budgets are being cut. After our initial announcement and Holly's birthday Facebook Cause push, almost 40 people had donated funds. Thousands of people already have.

Presentations like NTC's "The Real Housewives of Social Media" and the heavy emphasis on social media at conferences like AFP show the real need for strategy around measuring the success of these programs. The conversion rate of donations for US Fund for UNICEF on CNN.com is 0%, and it always will be.

We're still committed to sending as many people as possible to the NTC , so feel free to add to the tally and make a donation today.
