With catastrophic flooding and winds of up to 140 mph, Hurricane Helene has had a devastating impact on Florida’s Big Bend area and much of the Southeastern U.S. While we’re still waiting to understand the full effect of Hurricane Helene, there are plenty of ways to lend a hand to those in need right now.

Whether it's wildfires in the Pacific Northwest and California, tornadoes or blizzards in the Midwest, or hurricanes and flooding in the South and on the East Coast, it can sometimes feel like there's a disaster somewhere every day. Significant natural disasters are more and more common these days.

Before you think you know everything there is to know about “the millennials” and coin their actions as “do-gooding” and “nice” gestures, please be aware they are not only tackling these issues through traditional means of support like volunteering and donating.
