Late at night on Sunday August 29th, Hurricane Ida made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane near Port Fourchon, Louisiana. All of New Orleans is without power and an estimated one million people across Louisiana and Missouri are without power. UNICEF USA is collecting donations to aid their partners on the ground in Louisiana.

I want to donate to an organization that supports Sandy relief in the Staten Island area, and am looking for suggestions. The Wall Street Journal reported on November 2nd that a Relief Fund was created for Staten Island and New Jersey through the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
