After playing with all the options, I ultimately decided to export the files to HTML, upload online via FTP and serve in a Salesforce custom web tab aptly named "How Do I?" Rather than rehash what it does, here's their overview movie which explains it: You can export your lesson/manuals to HTML, Word or PDF and customize the template.

For Google Apps administrators, the offerings in the Google Apps Marketplace seems to be a lot of 3rd party tools that pull in gApps data (Docs, Calendar, etc.) to make it easier to work within the 3rd party tool's own environment. they stare blankly. Google Apps can be incredibly intuitive and maddening at the same time.

The current software does not interface with our current/new technical environment (MS-Exchange and Office, or Google g-mail, calendar, docs, etc.). This is an area of new or expanded emphasis for us. We cannot interface with other desired applications. Our system is like the “roach motel” of data; the data goes in, but never comes out again.

Collaborative Files I couldn't get through my day without Dropbox , which I have blogged about before. Dropbox continuously replicates local files to a personal cloud file space and synchronizes those folders across multiple computers and mobile devices. Within a personal file space, you can define shared folders with others.
