For Google Apps administrators, the offerings in the Google Apps Marketplace seems to be a lot of 3rd party tools that pull in gApps data (Docs, Calendar, etc.) The regular Google Apps control panel gives some very basic administrator controls for managing email settings for individual users and globally. I'm finding it very annoying to having to open an attached document from email, save it to my hard drive, and work with track changes or comments though. Docs are like super-simple wikis, and probably the most truly collaborative aspect of a Facebook group. Docs live in a designated place within your group and are therefore not as subject to the news feed, which is more timely.
