This morning, NetSquared hosted a special unconference at NTC on open data. It was a fascinating discussion that touched both on many of the reasons why nonprofits are taking a look at data sharing and on why consequential data sharing can sometimes be challenging or unfeasible for nonprofits.
A few weeks ago, I attended a panel discussion on open government data. I've kind of become an open-data geek in the past few months, largely thanks to NetSquared'sunconference at NTC. Mitchell Kapor echoed many of O'Reilly's points and discussed open government in the context of the history of open source.
