I just discovered a new (to me anyway) blog on nonprofits called the Nonprofit Eye via a provocative post on the Netsquared Community Blog. There is a panel on nonprofit and tagging taking place netsquared. There is some interesting discussion threads taking place. Even if you're not attending in person, you may have some questions or observations to add. Some of the questions: Why some people love discovery aspect of tagging and others don't?
For example, simply review the hundreds of ideas listed in NetSquared ’s Project Gallery and you’ll quickly see that people from around the world are hard at work leveraging all kinds of technologies to create positive change for communities tackling many different issues. I think there are too many to count, really.
I’ve been involved with TechSoup/Netsquared Network since its inception back six years ago and so it is nice to be part of the narrative arc. This participatory event is offering two days of focused discussion about—how these networks, and the capabilities that power them, can be effectively leveraged to create greater impact.
