As a trainer and subject matter expert, I fight a big battle when designing a workshop. The learning objectives for the workshop were two fold: Participants understand best practices and how to apply. The content focused on telling a couple of ”campfire” stories with insights about best practices.

I also love sharing techniques and tips with other trainers and often do “train the trainers” sessions as part of my practice. Good instructional design and delivery engages people’s brains, eyes, ears, and bodies. When participants move, oxygen to the brain increases, thereby enhancing both learning and memory.
