I'm particularly excited about two internships that relate to participatory exhibition design. First, there is the Participatory Exhibit Design Internship. These interns work with our curatorial team to develop interactive and participatory components for upcoming exhibitions. You don't have to be a student to be eligible.

The new structure will cut down on noise and allow for more interactive networking and socializing. Workshops will be interactive, 3-hour long, hands-on learning opportunities with tangible outcomes. Instead of sitting down at tables in the ballroom, on Day 1 you’ll pick up a box lunch and choose a session room based on topic.

Jonny will provide live graphic facilitation of the highly interactive and fun panel. The SXSW Interactive Festival (scheduled March 11-15, 2010 in Austin, Texas) is a mega huge social media industry event. In addition to the graphic facilitation, there will be other interactive learning elements. Trust me.

Even if you’ve never participated in an ‘unconference’ event like this, no worries! Attendees will divide into break-out groups to design the online campaign. This cross-platform event allowed for multiple levels of interaction with the single goal of teaching nonprofits how to tell stories digitally.
