We’re against piracy, and have made commitments to authors and publishers to encourage compliance with copyright law. We provide accessible ebooks that can be spoken aloud, turned into Braille or large print. But, when asked if we know whether or not there are “pirated” copyrighted materials, we can’t say. And then they go away.

And when the idea of a peer-to-peer ebook library came to me, it was George who I went to with the idea.
