On Twitter , look up hashtags that your community uses and follow them to track conversations. Consider participating or even starting a Twitter chat – the Association Cha t is a great example of a weekly chat with an online archive. Be sure to use relevant (but not spammy!) Bit.ly, goo.gl, t.co, TinyURL, youtu.be, s.coop.

Maybe you work with schools so you have segments for teachers, administrators, parents, students, and then groups outside of the school. Step 2: Define the goals that match each group.
