John Center for Homeless Men recently did their own virtual house party peer-to-peer event called Raisin’ the Rent , with some of their participants raising over $10,000 in their house party. For instance, the Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity hosted a wildly successful Gingerbread Home Build contest, bringing in 132% over their goal.

She was the recent winner of my son's Green Geek Charity Contest and we contributed a small amount to the charity of her choice, SOS Children's Villages. So I had great time eating my favourite chocolate waffle when watching Harry my favourite green geek. Reports suggest 15,000 are homeless because of the storm, and 22 dead.
