We need a multi-billion-dollar nature restoration and conservation market to support the climate and the SDGs, but we also need to educate investors. Often, we don’t invest in nature restoration or conservation because we don’t know what large-scale restoration would look like. We need to show people what is possible.

Its fun to look at the petition and see people signed up from Djibouti to Brazil There is a cell phone component to the campaign that has caused it to really take off in South Africa. We purposely set a more conservative goal so that our staff could feel the motivating rush of achieving it, and then we could push to exceed the original goal. If S/HE raises $3,000, S/HE could qualify for a trip to one of their programs in South Africa! Using past campaigns as a benchmark, we set our goal at $50,000.
