Problems were that many survivors had no internet access, let alone electrical power, let alone computers or even computer literacy. We can tap into local knowledge because our reports are coming from the source.

We make a huge effort to disseminate our news locally via radio partnerships, and other satellite partnerships, so that the people in the communities we serve are benefiting from our news first. It was written in very scribbled Nepali, her literacy skills were incredibly rudimentary, but what she ended up writing was a piece of journalism.
