Part III: Blogs, Podcasting and Vlogs September 27, 2006 When I start out these series, I seem to have an idea in hand about how to organize them, which, invariably, gets rearranged in the course of writing. Last Sunday at NTEN's Nonprofit Technology Conference, I facilitated a meetup for Changebloggers: Blogging, Podcasting and Vlogging for Good. My favorite story came from an organization who had a frequent, angry commenter who disagreed with their cause. They engaged with him, and in the end he became a member of their organization.

The creators produce a range of content, including more expert advice and product reviews to more casual “get ready with me” videos and vlogs. For this round I've drawn two blogs - one new to me and one I commented on just last week. Her most recent post is a longish review of social media - blogging, podcasting, and videoblogging - vlogging, to the initiated - and what their implications are for non-profit managers.
You cannot accept any money for blogs or vlogs (video blogs) as this is another type of commercial activity. Blog comments. Make clear how any limited commercial activity serves your mission, for example with an annual report. Do not only promise results after a consultation or after a product or service is bought. Donations made.
