This may seem like a simple, no-brainer question to ask, but NPO experts are quick to lament the lack of a clear, coherent message on some organization’s websites. So any good NPO site should have a way for them to make their views on the topic known. Is your mission clearly stated on your website?
By understanding how people make the decisions they do, your NPO can take strategic steps to raise more money and drum up more support, without running yourself ragged in the process. And, as my colleague Laura Quinn notes in a comment over here , it isn't about negative feedback - it is about sharing the knowledge to be more effective in using technology. I applaud that! The other concern that was brought up as the artificial distinctions or definitions of vendor versus consultant versus nonprofit staff person.

That was a question posed on a listserv with little response except for this observation: Micro-campaign 'competitions' are not going to last as an effective means of NPO fundraising. What are the best practices for using a YouTube Nonprofit Channel to promote your cause?
With nearly half of nonprofits using Facebook to raise money (according to the 2011 NPO SN Benchmarking Report), is this data being shared with your Giving Department? Which get the most click-throughs and which receive the most comments? Does your social media team track and report changes and updates to the data? Does it need to be?
Make sure you enable comments and you encourage interaction. Contact page - highly important for every NPO, it’s a must have on any website. Include top viewed and commented articles, results from polls or survey if relevant for your community and add contact information or a link toward your contact page.
They should belong to listservs, comment on community bulletin boards. I think that all organizations should track what people are saying about them, about the issues they are concerned with, about the communities they are concerned with and then they should comment on those when appropriate.
