The new design places focus on where the vast majority of ROI (Return on Investment) for your nonprofit comes from on Facebook… the Status Updates. They are reading and engaging your Page through your Status Updates in their News Feeds. You can now “Like&# and Comment on other Status Updates as a brand/Page.
If she or he doesn’t have the personality or passion to elicit Comments and Thumbs Ups in response to their Status Updates, then the ROI from your Facebook Page will be minimal. At the very least, you should have a goal of two Comments or Thumbs Up per Status Update per 1,000 Fans.
However, to stand out from the other nearly one hundred million Facebook Pages vying for likes, comments, and shares, your nonprofit needs to excel at Facebook to ensure News Feed exposure.
