There is a new tool called SecondTalk that lets you integrate skype with Second Life. Problem, of course, is that I'm not sure exactly how it might support a group call on Skype. I posted a question on the educator listserv and there doesn't seem to be one. So, that's why I like having both the visual and the aural.
