Next week I'm doing a Webinar for Extension Professionals , a remix of 10 Steps to Association 2.0 which was a remix of Marnie Webb 's Ten Ways Nonprofits Can Change the World. My initial remix thought (wrong) was to look for examples that were related to agriculture, but the extension is so much more. So, now is the fun part.
Last year, TweetsGiving , raised $11,000 to build a classroom in Tanzania using Twitter to spread messages of thanks and opportunities to donate. And finally, fun and public humiliation - as NTEN's executive director Holly Ross discovered, can be good levers for donations.
For my 50th birthday, I held a 50th Birthday Card Photo Remix Contest on flickr and donated $50 the winner's favorite charity.
