I often get the comment during a leadership seminar I teach that goes something like, "Well this is all well and good for large organizations, but what about my twelve-person NGO?" Training on a hoard of ICT topics is available on-line and in the classroom. What can small nonprofits do to benefit from collaboration? Some are free.

The MacArthur Foundation announced that it will be funding a five-year $50 million initiative, mostly for research, to try to understand how young people are using digital media and its impact learning. The environment for learning is no longer in the classroom and its online, and outside of school. Media isn't just happening to kids.
