Cisco to acquire Indy startup Socio to bring hybrid events to Webex

Cisco announced this morning that it intends to acquire Indianapolis-based startup Socio , which helps plan hybrid in-person and virtual events. When it does close, Socio’s 135 employees will be joining Cisco. Cisco is buying Slido to improve Q&A, polls and engagement in WebEx videoconferencing.
