Our seventh cohort includes 15 Fellows from around the country : Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. Over the next year, these fellows will be learning, sharing, designing, implementing, and challenging themselves to become digital inclusion experts who can and will transform their communities.

In part 1 of this series, we introduced MathAndCoding , a nonprofit that offers teen-led programming classes for children in public libraries in the Silicon Valley area. like Texas, where one instructor will be heading to college. The concept of] family literacy is also very important in our community.

Today I’m in San Antonio, Texas, for the American College of Preventive Medicine annual conference. On September 11, despite having reunited several families, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had a list of 1,600 children listed as missing by their parents, or who were seeking their families.

Are they wanting to fund children’s programs? So, if I provide 10 English as a second language or 10 computer literacy programs a year for 10 people, let’s just say that’s 100 pieces of content, that’s service. If the experience of those children is not positive, then is it really a celebration?
