This was happening at the same time as a rising rate of junior high and high school dropouts.

I just spent almost three weeks in Thailand and Laos on a combined work and vacation trip. One of my business visits was to a long-standing social enterprise partner of ours, Digital Divide Data in Vientiane, Laos. When I was growing up, I was very aware of the class differences, and the different ways that people would treat children who were from lower class families. We have a scholarship fund that gives scholarships to at-risk children along the Thai-Burma border; that is something else that can be gifted in honor of family members.
