If you were waiting for the most impactful moment to donate, this is it Look at this from Save the Children ! Start a “Subject lines” Google doc with them and add your highest performing subject lines (psst, I do this too and have 384 subject lines in mine). It’s direct, it’s moving, and it pulls you right in. Even better?
For example, lets say you’re writing a Letter of Inquiry for a program to give suitcases, new clothing, school supplies, and other support to children in foster care. So most children are moving at least 3 times in 12 months. What if you know children often carry their belongings from foster home to foster home in a garbage bag?

See the Google Doc for links.).
Open that blank doc and start by answering questions like: “What impact can our donors make by contributing to our mission this year?” Keep in mind, tools like ChatGPT are most effective when you are hyper-specific in your prompts, including details like word count, call-to-actions, tone, and intended audience.

I like sticky notes because if you change your mind during the planning process about where something goes, it’s no big deal to move the sticky. Think in terms of action.
A child advocacy organization might aim to double the number of volunteers trained to protect children in the court system. A Google Doc or Sheet is a great place to start, because you can collaborate with your team. An affordable housing program might aim to bring their waiting list down to zero. But you know what? It doesn’t matter!
In the donor’s mind, they can’t close the loop on the gift until they receive a receipt. These seven children are receiving a quality education, three meals a day, mentoring, and medical care. One in five Whitfield children experiences food insecurity at least once a month. The donor knows you received their gift.
How’s it going, doc? And so I, you know, want to hear from you because I know that whatever is on your mind, you’re able to add to the conversation. So I was just looking at First Five, and their work it was all about focusing on children, focusing on families, focusing on, you know, policy and advocacy.
Potentially populations served, like children or people with disabilities. There are certainly a number of things that you might want to have in mind to do earlier in the process. We recommend that you use something like Word or Google Docs to set up a template that you can then use for drafting the application. Anna is correct.
People travel from far and wide, carting in their partners, parents and children to see manta rays, dolphins and other marine life held captive and made to perform for our delight. News outlets ran stories on the doc and its exposé. The long, frantic wail of a lost child searching for his parent, as they shipped her off forever.

And let’s see if we can get your slides going here, if you don’t mind sharing again. And again, this idea that death is as natural as birth, it’s inevitable sooner or later, we’re all hoping for later, of course, but, at times in life, it’s more top of mind. So, Claire, I will pipe down here. Here we go.
Holland seems to be set in a picture-perfect town in Michigan, where cheerful children, happy housewives, and Dutch dancing are thriving. It's up to O'Dessa to bring her music to the masses and open their hearts and minds. Now, she's kicking off 2025 with a curious collaboration with Mimi Cave, director of the cannibal thriller Fresh.
There’s no margin for error," big-wall free climbing legend Tommy Caldwell says in the doc of his friend's task. Written by Kelly Marcel and Sue Smith, Banks tells the surprisingly life-affirming story of how Disney, in the 1960s, finally secured the rights to Mary Poppins , then a wildly popular children’s book.

For every person who spent that spring self-soothing with Animal Crossing or struggling to manage small children , there was someone else out there thinking, “How can I take advantage of the chaos?” He called his new friend “Doc.”. Doc Fong, that’s exactly right,” Rob responded. This is a story about one of those people.
The tech is mind-bending, but it's power for destruction is all in the hands of humans.
