Today, 826 has chapters in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Michigan, and Boston. Britt Bravo: In so many of the groups you profiled, the women were using the arts for education, empowerment, or healing. The children are ages 6-16, and they're making huge strides by leading a national movement against child rape in Zimbabwe. Right at the end of that period, I also was teaching. And, their weapon is poetry.
