You might still see yourself as a local animal shelter, but if 80% of your programmatic impact reports focus on one cohort of service (in this case, dogs from Tijuana), some of your donors may not feel the same connection to your mission. If you don’t already have this information, consider conducting a donor survey.

The concept was genius — providing an app and free cell phone to the individuals in exchange for filling out the surveys. Completing the survey would get them more cell phone time. The concept included enlisting a telco partner who would provide the phones and data cards. My Nonprofit Needs A Data Nerd!
