A community group worked hard to get her placed on the historic register and raise money to restore her to her mid-century glory. My kids have posed for photos in t-shirts , emptied their piggy banks , helped me make fundraising videos , contributed clothing or other items to drives at school, and have attended lots of fund raising events.

While there has been some high-profile efforts to raise awareness and money, most recently by former football player Steve Gleason and his Team Gleason House , research efforts and awareness have been low compared to the other fatal diseases. It is a debilitating disease with no known cure.

Whether I'm raising money for Cambodia or Creative Commons , I try to include them in some way. My kids have posed for photos in t-shirts , emptied their piggy banks , helped me make fundraising videos , contributed clothing or other items to drives at school, and have attended lots of fund raising events. 25 to spend on charity.

If you know of campaigns and lessons learned that haven't been included, please leave a comment: August 2007 I launched a campaign to raise money and get t-shirts donated for the Cambodian Bloggers Summit. In fact, the campaign went over goal and we able to raise enough money to send another young person to college.

Our 5-year-anniversary video from charity: water on Vimeo. In 2008, even more people joined and raised over $1 million for clean water projects in Ethiopia. We also keep a close eye on the video views for the campaign trailer as well as referrals – we think it’s a great piece of content so we hope a lot of people will watch it!
