A community group worked hard to get her placed on the historic register and raise money to restore her to her mid-century glory. My kids have posed for photos in t-shirts , emptied their piggy banks , helped me make fundraising videos , contributed clothing or other items to drives at school, and have attended lots of fund raising events.

For my 50th birthday, I held a 50th Birthday Card Flickr Photo Remix Party Well, a few weeks ago, I read a blog post by Amy Sample Ward about Birthday Causes, This new feature lets individuals on Facebook create a birthday fundraising campaign as part of a Cause. Flickr Photo Birthday Card Remix Contest. And, yes they did !

If you know of campaigns and lessons learned that haven't been included, please leave a comment: August 2007 I launched a campaign to raise money and get t-shirts donated for the Cambodian Bloggers Summit. In fact, the campaign went over goal and we able to raise enough money to send another young person to college.

Whether I'm raising money for Cambodia or Creative Commons , I try to include them in some way. My kids have posed for photos in t-shirts , emptied their piggy banks , helped me make fundraising videos , contributed clothing or other items to drives at school, and have attended lots of fund raising events. 25 to spend on charity.
