This is all set to happen at this week's New Organizing Institute (NOI)'s RootsCamp National 2012 unconference (Nov 30th and Dec 1st, here in D.C.) -- a mecca of sorts for the organizer faithful. The Care2 Team has sponsored and attended RootsCamp for years and always leaves impressed with the experience.

Day 1 of the conference saw 122 attendees volunteer to help 58 organizations during the Day of Service , while 50 of you attended the Open Data Unconference and 139 went to We Are Media Sessions. Meanwhile, there were 11 permanent exhibitors in the Sponsor Showcase and 18 in the Georgia Pavilion. A big thanks to over 40 sponsors !

Twestival Local Weekend : Last February, Twestival raised over $250,000 for charity:water on Twitter on February 13th with more 200 cities sponsoring local tweet, meet, and give parties.
