In early 2022, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy began an organization-wide grants changemanagement review. Changemanagement can be a long and uncomfortable process, but the introspection and analysis help you find ways to improve and more closely align with your mission.
It is one thing to adopt certain principles for how you will navigate change personally, but things get even more complicated and interesting when you are navigating changemanagement as a unit, group, family, or organization. Organizational change is what we will focus on today. ChangeManagement 101.
This is especially true when discussing with donors a change in leadership at your school, foundation, or nonprofit. If a changing of the guard hasnt happened to your organization yet, it will.
