And just last month, I used Twitter to raise $350 in a couple hours to help send the NTEN staff out for a relaxing excursion.
I have not been blogging because I've been at the NTEN NTC Conference , the premier event for nonprofit techies taking place in San Francisco. The NpTech Community has been early adopters of social media and social networks like Twitter. Chad Norman did a fantastic job at summarizing and blogging the key points.

I’m in Atlanta on the eve of the 2010 NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference and excited about the few people that I have already run into and looking forward to reuniting with more friends and NPTech peeps. NTEN attracts the smartest people in the nonprofit sector; they’re all worth talking to.
Our friends at NTEN give out NTENny Awards every year to recognize people making a significant contribution to the nonprofit tech community; once again, close to half of the winners were affiliated with NetSquared and our Tech4Good meetups. Please join NTEN (and me!) Discover the benefits of being a group leader and apply to join.
RoundTables are monthly hour-long chats, free for NTEN Members, moderated by an NTEN member from the field of Consulting, Communications, or IT -- depending on which RoundTable it is. Here are some highlights from this month's particularly tool-loaded Communications RoundTable with Chad Norman of Blackbaud.
Once again, the amazing NTEN community rallied to support one another. I've been at NTEN for over seven years now, and the generosity of spirit that you show during this campaign, and every day, is exactly why I stick around. Chad Norman. Tags: 10NTC NPTech Fundraising.
