NTEN is back in San Francisco and the NTC conference is once again sold out. Speakers: Chad Norman and Melanie Mathos. Disclosure: I serve on the board of directors of NTEN. You can follow what’s happening on Twitter by searching for the #12NTC hash tag. Better Nonprofit Websites: 52 Tweaks in 52 Weeks.
I have not been blogging because I've been at the NTEN NTC Conference , the premier event for nonprofit techies taking place in San Francisco. NTEN had also set up a google application that lets people vote on questions which how they decided to handle the Q/A in a room of 1400 people.

Chad Capellman of Boston, who lent his development help and keen CSS eye to this project.
I'm not sure we need "social media guidelines," but if your staff is unsure or the executive director is uncomfortable, I think a conversation is needed. I like how Holly Ross from NTEN handles her presence and her staff's presence -- and they are using Twitter for the organization. Do you think you have an obligation to do so?
As I wrote this post on the flight back from my third NTEN Conference I know I felt similar to many of the other 1,600 “NPTechies” (Nonprofit Techies) who are leaving San Francisco. So, allow me this chance to glow in the softer side of nonprofit technology and share some of my favorite moments of the 2009 NTEN Conference.
Our friends at NTEN give out NTENny Awards every year to recognize people making a significant contribution to the nonprofit tech community; once again, close to half of the winners were affiliated with NetSquared and our Tech4Good meetups.
