My annual charity:water September Campaign celebrates my anniversary, but it is part of a larger movement of people who care about providing clean water for the world. John Center for Homeless Men recently hosted their own virtual house party peer-to-peer event called Raisin’ the Rent. In particular, DIY fundraisers are popular for those who want to celebrate something or garner support, but instead of the support directed at them, it’s for a cause they care deeply about. Costume contest.

She was the recent winner of my son's Green Geek Charity Contest and we contributed a small amount to the charity of her choice, SOS Children's Villages. Joan sent us a note tonight thanking us, but also letting us know of a terrible natural disaster in her country: Hey Harry and Beth, I just celebrated my 26th birthday today!

Tourism Campaigns or celebrate a place or county or state. Examples include Creative Commons Swag Contest and Fight Hunger Video Contest.
