We have partnered with the county-wide community assessment project to learn more about the demographics, interests, and needs of local residents. At the same time, “identity” doesn't always mean demographics. Some of our best volunteers come from the County court referral system. And that means we get volunteers who are A.

And so it’s important to note that with these demographic cohorts, oftentimes people try and think that as people age, they’re going to age out of a cohort. And so with these two cohorts, they are committed to the cause. They’re going to be committed to the work that is being done for the cause. They do not.
