In response to this post by Seth Godin on nonprofits and social media, I repeat what I said three years ago over at the Netsquared Community. Seth publishing a detailed report showing exact amounts raised by each nonprofit in the Squidoo program, along with casestudies of the time and resources they expended.
For example, simply review the hundreds of ideas listed in NetSquared ’s Project Gallery and you’ll quickly see that people from around the world are hard at work leveraging all kinds of technologies to create positive change for communities tackling many different issues. I think there are too many to count, really.
We’ll be facilitating a conversation, more than doing a formal presentation, and will focus on the power of crowdsourcing (using our own casestudy from conducting the Social Media for Social Good casestudy competition) and the application of social media in nonprofit program delivery. What do you think?

Today Allison Fine and I celebrated the launch of the Networked Nonprofit at TechSoup Global in the space where Netsquared Meetups take place. Most importantly, the vision that Marnie Webb had over five years ago called Netsquared inspired me to keep blogging and explore social media and nonprofits.
We sought out casestudies or examples that reinforced much of how we already operated. We looked at casestudies that showed which tools were used and how, and especially to what end. This is also the period when honest casestudies take the forefront.

I got an email from an instructor at Standard University continuing education who plans to remix it and an email from someone in Italy who will translate the game and fundraising casestudy into Italian.
