Now I know storytelling is a buzzword right now, and buzzwords come and go. Storytelling has been a buzzword before, and will be again. But even when storytelling is not a buzzword, your story needs to be told. As a co-coordinator for NetSquared DC, I recently helped organize a storytelling event in DC.
I will also continue to write casestudies, step-by-steps instructional pieces, and trend pieces. I am remember something that Ethan Zuckerman said at the first Netsquared Conference, " Don't Speak, Point " He was talking about citizen journalism and advocacy in the age of read/write web. I want to improve my writing.
