In Darah’s words: I basically started the site in November as a combination of social media interests and helping others in their fight vs cancer. The end result would be more followers for us, great PR for the sponsor (and a good deed) and $ and awareness through tweet to the cancer charity.
If an org has 5,000 employees, Chatter is a fantastic way for folks from one side of the building to keep up with what's happening on the other side. I turned Chatter on at Colorectal Cancer Coalition months ago, and the reaction from my colleagues was one big disinterested shrug. I wasn't enthused about Chatter from the start.
