I have many things that I want to talk about at the NTC because it’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to talk about ideas, get advice, or hear stories from others in real time, in one space, as fast as you can share them! JustGiving’s success, the sheer numbers (in millions) of people using the peer to peer platform for fundraising, campaigning and awareness, shows that people are ready and willing, jumping at the opportunity even, to integrate philanthropy and social change work into their every day lives. I’ve written about it , submitted a session proposal with colleague Debra Askanase to the 2011 NTC, and recently had the opportunity to start a conversation on the topic of engaging your community across platforms in a GroupVine message (more information about my use of the tool at the bottom of this post).
From sharing ideas to sharing rides to the NTC, this is an extremely generous community and the 2012 Champions Campaign is yet one more example. When we launched the campaign, our goal was to reach a total of $30,000. We've said it before, and we'll say it again: the NTEN community is pretty amazing.

Last week was the 2011 Nonprofit Technology Conference and not only did I have the pleasure of presenting a couple sessions, it was also my first NTC as a staffer, as I joined NTEN earlier this month.
