I have no idea how to really compare these phones and make the right decision, aside from reading thousands of reviews. Just not feasible to switch.

Sure, I can charge my phone, but I have to be careful not to let iTunes sync, because it insists on only syncing to one iTunes Library at a time. When I travel, I can’t sync.
