Nata is a village of 5,000 people in Botswana. According to the blog, 50% of the pregnant women in the village are HIV positive and 400 children have been orphaned by AIDS. Botswana has the second highest HIV infection rate in Africa.

"Now, 18 months later, all of Juana's children are in school. For example, when women have this kind of specific skill-set training, they are more likely to have less children, to keep the children they do have in school, to be able to provide access to medical care, and things like that.
