(I've been wanting to do audio and video for a long time, but it wasn't until my blogher experience that I actually got moving and picked up the knowledge to try my first one. Lisa Williams showed her vlog from Blogher at the Berkman Thursday night blogging group and during the walk to dinner, I got to ask her how she did it.

Shortly before the Blogher July 2005 conference, I got a new digital camera that came with a video feature. At the conference, I attended a session on video blogging with Ryanne Hodson and was inspired to go play in a vlog sandbox. I'm just back after a ten-day business trip beginning with Blogher and ending with NCDD (Dialogue and Deliberation). I might even try it on the VOX system where I scored a beta invite from Mena Trott during Blogher. So, maybe this is be an intergenerational vlog.
I vlogged it here: Download cultureshock.wmv. First, there was a lot of energy in the room, similar to the blogher , because a lot of people had been reading each other's blogs or posts on GV, but had never met face-to-face. It was very similar to the way the blogher opening plenary was facilitated.
