Last week I spoke at BlogHer '11, a gathering of over 3,000 women bloggers. One of the main reasons I go to BlogHer is to connect with old friends and to make new ones like: Beth of My Plastic-free Life. So, she graciously agreed to participate in our panel and do a quick interview for me so I could "pro blog it" for BlogHer. last January (after nearly 2 years abroad), I set about really learning the non-profit tech industry. I think having more non-profit panels is critical. conference like SXSW?

Many blogHers, like Rebeca at the Razoo blog , went red on Thursday as part of Free Burma: International Bloggers Day. I've gotten to the point where I avoid pink ribbon madness for corporate profit as Suzanne Reisman describes it. But, on Friday, my blog turned from red to pink!

What have you learned about personal fundraising that might be helpful to other bloghers? A $500 cash giveaway on my blog as an exciting incentive to give to my campaign, and an event that I'm organizing in October, to also fundraise and raise awareness.
