Over a year ago, I interviewed Carnet Williams , a long time member of the nonprofit technology and riders community and who recently launched a tool called Chipin which is designed to simplify the process of connecting with people in your social network to collect money for a personal cause, to purchase a gift, or for community fundraising.
In the comments of my post of Annalee Newitz's talk on the Revenge of the Female Nerds , my friend Anina pointed me her interview on nerdtv. I met and live blogged Anina at Blogher. I loved the interview - especially the "Lies to Tell the Phone Company" bit. This female nerd doesn't wear glasses and is not ugly.

I'm live blogging at blogher and in about an hour and half, I'll be attending a training on how we're supposed to be tagging our posts and some points about writing style, etc. Her is the description of my task: All social and networking portions of BlogHer are being blogged all day by our BlogHer-on-the-street, Beth Kanter.

I recently created an interview series on my blog called Unfurling , where I conduct interviews with women and record them as videos. Later that summer, I had the honor of being interviewed by Ponzi at BlogHer. I love conversational keynotes and have ever since I first experienced them during the Global Voices London Summit 2005 and Blogher plenary session in 2005. s very difficult to decide which to attend. This year, I finally got an opportunity to attend.
My dream for the writing I do for this blog, BlogHer and NetSquared , and for the interviews I do for the Big Vision Podcast is to somehow make a difference, to live up to how one friend described Have Fun * Do Good as, "inspiring people by seeing the efforts of others in hopes that they will be moved to act themselves."
After I did the interview, I was able to connect the recorder to the computer via USB and download the interview (which I recorded as an MP3 at 44.1K) into my iTunes. I edited the interview in GarageBand and exported it back into my iTunes. Audacity is another free software option you can use to edit podcasts.
